Piranha is a purple motorcycle with sidecar, without a real motorcycle on which it is based, unlike, for example, Jackhammer which is a Ford Bronco. However, a Harley Davidson Sportster could have served as a model.
Piranha transforms from the motorcycle into a submarine, or rather the sidecar becomes the submarine.
In the toy was Sly Rax, with his stiletto mask. In the first wave of toys, in the U.S., the short (short) versions of the mask was there, from the second wave the long (long) version. From the boxes you can see which version was in which box. See below.
(read more)Unlike the cars from Team MASK, where the design is very colorful, Piranha is painted in dark purple, with few chrome parts. Only the rims and the decoration of the engine wear chrome.
Unlike the larger and more expensive toys of the 1st Toy Line, Piranha has plastic tires, and not rubber tires.
The transformation mechanism of Piranha is also rather simple. To transform the motorcycle into the submarine, simply press the large of the two orange buttons on the sidecar. The sidecar fires, the flotation wings unfold and the weapons extend. The window must be closed by hand.
Pressing the small of the two buttons, the water wings fold out and the weapons extend, but the sidecar remains on the motorcycle.
Piranha has a nozzle on the sidecar for fuel hoses.
The frame that holds the submarine on the motorcycle, can be removed and also falls off by itself when playing, just like the windshield of the motorcycle.
There were 17 stickers that had to be attached.

The boxes had some differences in different countries, even within the same country. In the same country there were changes in different years.
The EU boxes are completely different from the boxes from the other countries. So you have no back on which the toy is explained, it is just the same site as the front, only with different languages. You can see this in the boxes section. All other differences follow now. Attached are the differences for the Piranha boxes.
US Box
The artwork of the US box also differs for Piranha from the EU box. On the US box, Piranha is more blue than purple, the metal is less shiny, and the windshield is white transparent with a blue frame. Also, the windshield on the US box has the headlight. The submarine here has 2 fins instead of 3, and the canopy of the submarine is white transparent. By Lance Anderson we know that the boxes were redesigned for the European market. EU Box
The artwork of the EU box also differs for Piranha from the US box. At the EU box Piranha is purple like the toy, the metal is more shiny and the windshield is purple.
